MARY MUCKENDORFER HELD WEDNESDAY Passed Away Monday Following Illness of About Six Weeks Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Muckendorfer, who died here Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben Pavel, were held Wednesday morning. Short services were held at the Pavel home at 8:30 with church services at 9 o'clock in St. Wenceslaus church. Rev. Oborny of Dodge officiated. Burial was in the St. Wenceslaus cemetery north east of Dodge. Prucha Mortuary directed the funeral. Mary Muckendorfer nee Pojar was born at Kolovec Kraj, Pilsen, Czechoslovakia on Aug. 10, 1862. She came to America in her early childhood with her parents and settled in Dodge county. On Apr. 13, 1885 she was married to Anton Muckendorfer and for many years resided in this community. Her husband died in 1925. She had resided in Howells for 20 years. She had been visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben Pavel in Dodge when she first became ill about 6 weeks ago. She had reached the age of 78 years, 11 months and 25 days. Surviving her are four children Henry and James of Dodge, Joseph of North Bend and one daughter Mrs. Ben Pavel, Dodge. A son Frank preceded her in death. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother Mrs. Katie Wragge, Pierce; Mrs. Jos. Dlouhy, Clarkson and Mr. Frank Pojar, Dodge. She is survived by 10 grand children and 2 great grand children.
