Bio
A. G. Anderson, 89, of Westbrook, died on Friday, March 22, 1991, at Mitchell County Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 at First Baptist Church of Westbrook, under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Westbrook Cemetery. The Reverend Bob Manning, assisted by the Reverend Leon Green, will officiate. Anderson was born on Saturday, December 14, 1901, in Texas, to A. A. and Lily Mae Anderson, both now deceased. He was a Baptist, and a retired oil field worker. He was married, on May 26, 1922, to Minnie Mae Pelton Anderson, of Westbrook, who survives him. Survivors also include three sons, David Anderson and Albert Anderson, both of Colorado City; and Perry Anderson of Odessa. He is survived by two sisters, Elvie Blalock of Snyder and Pearl Kelly of Morton; and by two brothers, Earl Anderson of Kerrville and Dee Anderson of Lubbock. Survivors also include nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. AG is his complete name, it doesn't stand for something else. AG Anderson married Minnie Mae Pelton May 26, 1922.
