Bio

Services for Pearl Kelly, 91, of Morton will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Jackson and Paul Lively officiating. Burial will be in Morton Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home of Morton. She died Monday, April 8, 2002. She was born Oct. 6, 1910, in Garza County and married Fred Calvin Kelly on Jan. 18, 1931, in Portales, N.M. He died Dec. 2, 1991. She moved to Morton from the Maple community in 1938. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Morton and Morton Senior Citizens. A son, Calvin, and two daughters, Audrey Scott and Helen Houghton, preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Alvin Zane of Midland; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, 202 S.E. First St., Morton, TX 79346, or to a favorite charity.
