Bio

When Leon A Sanders was born on May 28, 1921, in Oklahoma, his father, Jesse, was 29 and his mother, Bonnie, was 19. He had two half brothers and two half sisters. His brother Lloyd Thomas was born on November 3, 1923, when Leon A was 2 years old. He lived in Allen, Oklahoma, in 1930 & 1935 records. Leon experienced one of the worst heatwaves in North American history while living in Allen, Oklahoma during the summer of 1936. He lived in Turlock, California, on April 1, 1940. He was 18 single & a room & boarder. He lived in Paramount, California, in 1956. Leon lived in Paramount, California during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis when the nation waited with bated breath as the world’s superpowers narrowly avoided nuclear war. His father Jesse Webster passed away on August 26, 1977, in Allen, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. His mother Bonnie Rella passed away on April 13, 1991, in Allen, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. His wife Ava Nell passed away on January 13, 1996, at the age of 76. He died on December 23, 2002, in Thermal, California, at the age of 81, and was buried in Allen, Oklahoma.
