WILLIAM T RITNOUR William T. Ritnour was born Feb. 1870 in Copiah County, Mississippi to Henry Clay Ritnour and S. Jemima Ramsey. He died Jan. 10, 1944 in Shelby County, Texas. William married Mary F. Wheeler, Feb. 16, 1891 in Shelby County, Texas. The 1900 Census of Justice Precinct 8, Nacogdoches, Texas shows the following, W. T. Ritnour age 30, Mary Ritnour age 27, Luke Ritnour age 8, Ivy Ritnour age 3, Eva Ritnour age 3, Arris Ritnour age 1, and H. C. Ritnour age 57. H. C. Ritnour is the father of William. In 1902 Mary F. Wheeler died at age 28 years, leaving behind a husband and 4 children. After the death of Mary, William married Margarette Louvinnia Wheeler, a sister to his first wife, Feb. 15, 1908 in Shelby County, Texas. Margarette was born January 2, 1871 in Shelby County, Texas. To this union was born the following: Lena M. Ritnour born in 1909. The 1910 Census of Justice Precinct 8, Shelby County, Texas shows the following, William T. Ritnour age 40, Margaret G. Ritnour age 39, Evie D. Ritnour age 13, Ivie Ritnour age 13, Lena M. Ritnour age 1 3/12, and Clarence B. Williams age 19. I am not sure who Clarence B. Williams is.
