Guy Goode YOAKUM―Guy Goode, 67, former resident of Yoakum who moved to Victoria last March, died at 9:10 a.m. Thursday in a Victoria hospital. Mr. Goode was born Sept. 20, 1903 in DeWitt County. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Yoakum, with the Rev. Marvin Wiggins and the Rev. Gerald Canon, both of Victoria, officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery near Yoakum. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Victoria; a son, Glen, of Austin; a daughter, Mrs. Lee Roy Gentry of Victoria; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Cooper and Mrs. Eva Hollan, both of Yoakum; and three grandchildren.
