SALLY D. JOHNSON Sally D. Johnson, 87, of Maud, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Maud. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include two sons, Walter Doyle Johnson of Freemont, Calif., and Billy Johnson of Vacaville, Calif.; one daughter, Patsy Willis of Sacramento, Calif; one sister, Jimmie White of Maud; five grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Church of God Prophecy, Maud with Elmer Whalen officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the church before services. Memorials may be made to the building fund of Church of God of Prophecy, P.O. Box 774, Maud, Texas 75567.
