Boydston Funeral Home Webposted Mary Jo Lawson May 6, 1947 ~ October 9, 2000 Mary Jo Lawson, age 53, of Ardmore, Oklahoma and former resident of Lindsay, Oklahoma died on October 9, 2000 at her home in Ardmore. She was born on May 6, 1947 in Waco, Texas to Eddie Kubala and Josephine Kubala. She was employed with Anderson Merchandising. Survivors include daughters, Dawn Selzer of Lindsay, Oklahoma; Dwan Lawson of Lakeview, Oregon; and D'Lana Lawson Albright of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Grandchildren, Katy Selzer, Shelby Selzer, McKinnley Albright and Clair Selzer, all of Lindsay. She is also survived by her parents, Eddie and Jo Kubala of West, Texas. Brothers and sisters, George Kubala, John Kubala, James Kubala and Mark Kubala of West, Texas; Edward Kubala of Abbott, Texas; Fran Matus, Joan Tipton, and Jo Polansky of West, Texas. Mary Jo enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and children. She also enjoyed reading, crafts and outdoor activities. Memorial services were held on Friday, October 13, 2000 at 4:00 p.m. in the Victory Worship Center, Lindsay, and Oklahoma. Pastor Danny Daniels, II provided words of comfort. Services were under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home, Lindsay, Oklahoma.
