Adeline A. Molczyk, 82, of Grand Island died on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at home. Adeline was born Dec. 21, 1927, in Ashton to John and Clara (Jonak) Sawicki. Adeline was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Molczyk; and son, Ronnie. Survivors are: daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Larry Cowell, Gail Molczyk, Judy and Jim Uden, and Rhonda Brown; sister, Patricia Goebel; brother, Don Sawicki; grandchildren, Amber and her husband, Eric Edwards, Christopher Cowell, Jeremy Cowell, Brandon Holder, Jessica Holder, Justin Holder, Nathan Brown, Nicholas Brown, Bryan Brown; seven great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Adeline grew up in Ashton. She was united in marriage to Raymond Molczyk on July 7, 1963, in Ashton. The couple lived in Grand Island where she was employed by the Soldiers and Sailors Home AKA Grand Island Veterans Home. Adeline was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and the St. Mary's Altar Society. She was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, crafts, and most of all, her grandkids. Adeline was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl and Lavern, and sister, Dorothy.
