Bio

Lavonia B. Jaska is the daughter of James Lemuel Jones and Mary Ann Thompson. Lavonia is the wife of Edward V. Jaska. Lavonia and Edward are the parents of Timothy Edward Jaska, Richard Pat Jaska and James Lemuel Jaska. Lavonia took over as Postmaster of the Ross Community from her father in 1943 and served as Postmaster until 1952. Lavonia taught school at Ross for over 40 years.
