Bio
Parents: Alonzo A. Lipp, b. May 23, 1857 d. 1892 and Mary Ann Huffman b. July 21, 1869 d. October 10, 1945. Paternal grandparents: George A. Lipp born abt. 1835 and Mary Jane VanKirk born abt. 1839. Married Etta Merrill Mosbarger on June 9, 1915. Children of the union include Wesley Wayne, Vera Fern, Archie Vernon, Irma Marie, Velma Irene, Henry Merle, Lela May, and Leland Ray (Jim). Henry and Merrill were farming south of Franklin, NE on the Nebraska-Kansas state line when the children were born. They farmed east of Franklin while the children were growing up. Merrill and Henry moved into town in the 1940s leaving the farming to their sons. Henry sold farm implements and automobiles in Franklin and Red Cloud, NE.
