The Inyo Register Newspaper - June 21, 1996 - Bishop, Inyo County, California Former Bishop resident Clarence L. Hunt, 82, died June 6 at the Nye Regional Medical Center in Tonopah, Nevada. No services were scheduled. Mr. Hunt was born Feb. 22, 1914 to John and Mary Ann Hunt of Martin, Kansas. A veteran of the US Army, he retired after 25 years as a tungsten miner. he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Elks. Survivors include his children: Keith Hunt of Australia, Kenneth Hunt of Texas, Lyle Viers of Colorado, Galen Hunt of Tonopah, Mary Ann Dims of Las Vegas, and Ray Viers of Georgia; 11 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Interment was at South Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
