The Madison County Record Huntsville, AR 18 Sep 1975 Early Harland Ledbetter, 81, 805 NW A St., Bentonville, died Sept. 11 in Bates memorial Hospital, Bentonville. Born Sept 16, 1893, in Madison County near Wesley, he was the son of Noah Hampton and Mandy Johnson Ledbetter, attended school in Wesley and in 1916 moved to California. For 21 years he was associated with General Petroleum Co. and was employed at Knott's Berry Farm for 13 years. He moved back to Arkansas in 1951 and lived first in Cave Springs, then Bentonville. He was a member of Bentonville Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Frances Neal Ledbetter of the home; one son, Mack Ledbetter, Brea, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Korn, Orange, Calif., Mrs. Mildred Coffman and Mrs. Wilma Scott, Fullerton, Calif.; two brothers, Ervin Ledbetter and Luther Ledbetter, Welch, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Lucas, Mrs. Fern Jameson and Mrs. Opal Greer all of Welch, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday at 10 a.m. in Bentonville Church of Christ with Walter Buchanan officiating. Graveside services were held in Wesley Cemetery at 2 p.m. Burial was under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
