Frances "Nonnie" Nichols, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at Eastern Hills Methodist Church, 1509 Wilson Road, Fort Worth. Interment will follow in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Nonnie was a longtime faithful member of Eastern Hills Methodist Church. She was passionate about caring for her family when they needed her most. Nonnie's family will always remember her gifts of unconditional love, open heart and motherly spirit. With her spare time she enjoyed cooking, sewing and church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Nichols; daughter, Evelyn Fay Standard; grandson, Gary Jones; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: Sister, Blanche Drucker; grandson, Tom Jones and wife, Bertha; grandson, Kevin Jones and wife, Kim; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
