Bio

Mr. Leo Byers Garth, 94, passed away Saturday October 27, 2007 in Waxahachie. He was born to parents Nathan Garth and Marcia Docy on September 20, 1913 in Ennis. He attended Ennis High School and graduated in 1932. He married Peggy Louise Barnes on September 21, 1934 and they made their home in Ennis until 1978. Mr. Garth was a supervisor for Ennis Business Forms for 35 years and retired in 1978. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Ennis. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy L. Garth on August 27th 1989.;two brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter. He is survived by one son Ernie Garth; two daughters, Barbara & Willei Pugh of Hutchins; and Peggy June & Joe Test of Waxahachie. Sisters Blanch Drucker of Boonville, Arkansas; Ona Martin of Ft. Worth and Frances Nichols of Ft. Worth. Services will be held Wednesday October 31, 2007 at 11am in the Keever Chapel. Rev. Mitch Chapman will officiate. Visitation 6-8 on Tuesday. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
