Graveside services for Lynn A. Weaver, 57, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Greenview Cemetery with the Rev. Horace Hammond officiating. Mickey Ferguson, Randy Roberts, Lonnie Davis, Matt Rosamond, Ed Rosamond and Juan Ponacho will serve as pallbearers. C.O. Hunt, Larry Morris, Leeman Stracener, Lewis Ferguson and Dr. David Sargent will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Weaver passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Lynn A. Weaver was born Nov. 27, 1952, in Corpus Christi, the son of Sam Weaver and Myrna Case Weaver. He married Jewell Katherine Hunt in the Greenview community on July 29, 2006. She survives. Mr. Weaver was a delivery driver for Hopco Cabinet Manufacturing, retiring after more than 10 years. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Katherine; two sons, Mike Holmes and wife, Melissa, of Austin, and Billy Menge and wife, Jennifer, of Sulphur Springs; three daughters, LaDonna Mladenka and husband, Bryan, of Splendora, Jennifer Muniz and husband, Santos, of Conroe, and Lyn Kay Garner; three brothers, Steve Weaver and wife, Cynthia, of Phoenix, Ariz., Mike Weaver of Colorado, and Sam Weaver III and wife, Renee, of Brashear; and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Christopher Weaver. The family will receive friends from noon until service time at the community building adjacent to the Greenview Cemetery. Tapp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
