Graveside funeral services for Myrna Case Weaver, age 73, of Brashear, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2007, at Greenview Cemetery. Father Gary Rottman will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2007, at Tapp Funeral Home. Mrs. Weaver passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2007, in Paris Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 29, 1934, in Baraboo, Wisconsin, the daughter of Anson Case and Edna Getchell Case. She married Sam Houston Weaver, Jr., on July 6, 1956, in Corpus Christi. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Weaver was a homemaker and a member of St. James Catholic Church. Survivors include: four sons, Lynn Weaver and wife Kathy of Brashear, Stephen Weaver of Castle Rock, Colorado, Sam Houston Weaver III and wife Renee of Brashear, and Michael Weaver of Montrose, Colorado; one brother, James Case of Flower Bluff; two sisters, Francis Doppke of Colorado, and Charlotte Root of Katy, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred Case and Michael Case; two sisters, Alberta Case and Margaret Case; and one grandson, Chris Weaver. Arrangements are with Tapp Funeral Home.
