Graveside services for Estelle Gilbreth, 94 of Sundown will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Sundown Cemetery with Scott Lipes, officiating. Burial is under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. She died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Sundown. Born on March 13, 1916 in Stephens, Oklahoma to Silas Lesley and Sarah Catherine Monden Wheat, she moved to Sundown, Texas in 1951 from Cedar Lake, Texas. She married John Dyer Gilbeth, Sr. on January 16, 1937 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He died on June 13, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby LaVaughn Stine in 1988 and a son in law, Darrell Stine in 1998. Survivors include, two sons: John Dyer "Dee" Gilbreth, Jr. and his wife, Pat of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Nathan Craig Gilbreth and his wife, Carol of Sundown , Texas; her daughter, Elizabeth Palmer and her husband, Joe Bob of Lubbock, Texas; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
