Bio

Theresa Jaros daughter of James and Theresa (Tesnohlidek) Jaros was born 17 Aug 1888 in Nebraska and first married to Emanuel (Emil) Fuxa in Aug 1907. They are found in the 1910 US census living in Omaha, Nebraska with first son Edward a. 1. Emil was born in Aug 4, 1883 in Austria (Bohemia) per his WW I draft card. In the 1920 US census they are still living in Omaha, Nebraska and have six children. They were; Edward a. 10, Emil a. 9, Joseph a. 7, Helen a. 6, Mary a. 4 and Thomas a. 2. Emil died July 7, 1921 in Denver, CO and is buried in St Mary's cemetery, Omaha, NE. In 1922, Theresa Fuxa is listed in a Denver, CO city directory as a widow of Emil. Theresa Fuxa married second to Lawrence Pancost 18 March 1929 in Golden, CO. In the 1930 US census Lawrence and Theresa Pancost (incorrectly recorded as Palicost) were living in Boulder, CO with the five younger Fuxa children. The children were listed with the same surname as the parents. This appears to be poor census taking as all of them are found later using the Fuxa surname. Lawrence Pancost died in 1967 and is interred in Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, CO. Theresa Pancost died 14 Jan 1981 and is interred in Mountain View cemetery Longmont, Colorado in the same plot as daughter-in-law Isabel and son Emil Fuxa.
