Joseph Clinton Fontenot "Clin", 93, of Buna died Monday, April 6, 2015, at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper. Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Antioch Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Adams EE Springer Funeral Home in Buna. Born April 26, 1921, in Evangeline, Louisiana to Jean Marie Fontenet and Marguerite Soileau Fontenot, he was a longtime resident of Buna and was a retired steel mill worker. He was a WWII US Army POW Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents and wife Hazel Bertram Fontenot and step-children Kenneth Quinn, Dianne Quinn Anderson, and Richard Quinn. He is survived by his sons, Brucie Fontenot and Jerry Fontenot; daughters, Janice Schroeder and Kathy Mervin; five grandchildren, Gene Gilstrap, Dwight Fontenot, Keith Fontenot, Chris Melancon, Kyle Melancon; eight great-grandchildren, Jennifer Gilstrap, Jessica Gilstrap, Calab Fontenot, Kaleigh Fontenot, Maddy Fontenot, Lani Fontenot. Easton Melancon and Claire Melancon.
