Bio

Betty Ann Yankten, 72, of rural Grand Island died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at University Medical Center, Omaha. Betty Ann passed away from cancer on her brain, which she was just diagnosed with one short month ago. Her passing has left her family and a host of friends in disbelief, shock, and tears. She also leaves behind her companions, her black lab "Dewey" and her two beautiful cats, "Pearl" and "Gladys". She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Earl at the Grand Island City Cemetery. Source: The Grand Island Independent, Oct 29, 2010
