Funeral services for Velma Zapalac Hustede , 67, of Rosenberg, will be held at 2:00 P. M., Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg with Rev. Claude Villemaire officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M., Wednesday, October 27, 2010, in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Velma was born November 2, 1942 in Smithville to Ignac Zapalac and Welma Trueper Zapalac. She passed away October 24, 2010 in Sugar Land. Velma is preceded in death by her parents, Ignac and Welma Zapalac. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bennie Hustede; her children, Janet Strickland and husband, Chris, and Jason Hustede; her sister, Minnie Roehe; and her grand dog, Millie; along with other relatives and friends.
