Bio

Funeral services for Marjorie Hollers, 93, of Edgewood are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at Hiett's LyBrand Chapel in Edgewood with the Rev. Michael Bedevian officiating. A private burial will be held Monday, Oct. 12, at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, one hour prior to service time. Marjorie passed away at her home on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009. Marjorie Ivo Peek was born April 13, 1916, in Saltillo to the late J.E. and Nancy McMahan Peek. She grew up and attended school in Hopkins County. She married W.H. Hollers in 1942. They made their home in Richardson, where Marjorie worked in real estate and at various drug stores. After Bill's death, she moved to Edgewood and worked at Terrell State Hospital. She was a member of the Terry Hale Sunday School Class and Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood. Marjorie is also preceded in death by one son, William Hollers, Jr.; three brothers, Clarence Peek, J.R. Peek and Guy Peek; and one sister, Ruby Coker.
