Bio

Edward A. Mikulencak, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010, in Austin, Texas. Visitation will be on Friday, October 22, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Granger, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger, Texas. Edward was born on February 21, 1923 to Anton and Marie Mikulencak in Granger, Texas. He was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church all his life. Edward served in the Navy during WWII and retired as a Fireman in Corpus Christi, Texas after 34 years of service. He was dearly loved by all his family and friends and will truly be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Joseph Frank Mikulencak. Edward is survived by his sister Martha Watkins, Uncle, Charles Rosipal, nephews, Paul Mikulencak, Robert Watkins, nieces, Kathryn Watkins, Dianna Watkins, Mandy Mikulencak and husband Andy Dougherty, Tessa Knox and husband Paul, two grandnephews, Hunter Knox and Nathan Jones and 1 grandniece, Haley Knox.
