A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Wade Cemetery, Wade, for Minnie Seloma (Vandenburg) Ned, 69, Bennington, who passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at her residence. Chaplain Greg Hatch will officiate. She was born April 4, 1937, in Bray, to Allen Pete Vandenburg and Virgie Lee (May) Vandenburg and had lived in the Wade community most of her life. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Ned on Jan. 16, 2002; and her parents. She is survived by sons Kenneth Hassey and his wife Billie of Rowlett, Texas, and George Ned, Wade; daughters Lola Boyer and her husband David of Frisco, Texas, Lillie Gilbert and her husband Edward of Wade, Gwenda Ned of Wade, Tammie Greenhaw and her husband James of Albany, and Susie Ned and her husband Jorge of Joshua, Texas; brothers Rick Vandenburg, Don Vandenburg, James Vandenburg, and Gene Vandenburg, all of Bokchito; sisters Judy Mitchell of Bokchito, Faye Haun of Bennington, Dorothy Smith of Bokchito, and Betty Dumas of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren Steven Boyer, Terry Gilbert, Carey Gilbert, Brian Hassey, Michael Hassey, Donna Ruiz, Megan Ned, Jonathon Ned, Dakota Ned, Leslie Greenhaw, and Hailee Greenhaw, along with numerous great-grandchildren and other family and friends. The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Lunch will be served at the church after the service.
