Dorothy Lucille Smith was born Monday October 7, 1935 in Bokchito, Oklahoma to Harvey Allen Vandenburg, & Virgie Lee (Maye) Vandenburg, She left her earthly home Friday, February 5, 2016 in Bokchito, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years 3 months and 29 days. She loved being with her family always taking care of others before herself. Enjoyed going to garage sales and working crossword puzzels. Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Dorothy is survived by her Sons, Billy Smith and wife Glenda of Yuba, Oklahoma and Cale Smith of Bokchito, Oklahoma; Daughters, Linda Lawson and husband Johnny of Albany, Oklahoma, Sheron Meek and husband Bill of Bokchito, Oklahoma and Brenda Smith of Bokchito, Oklahoma; Brothers Gene Vandenburg of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Ricky Vandenburg and wife Donna of Durant, Oklahoma, Don Vandenburg and wife Sherily of Caddo, Oklahoma and James Vandenburg of Bokchito; Sisters Faye Haun of Wade, Oklahoma, Betty Dumas of Lubbock, Texas and Judy Mitchell and husband Elmer of Bokchito, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Brad Smith and wife Heather, Randy Smith and wife Shelly, Lacy Bird and Husband Terry, Julie Smith, Cale Smith Jr., Latasha White, Trey White, Jack Lawson and wife Brittany, Billy Lawson and wife Janica, April Meek, Alisha Terry, Laura Blunt and husband John and LeAnna Iqbal and husband Rashid. She has 11 Great-Grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Virgie Lee Vandenburg; Son Ed Smith; Daughter Baby Girl; Sister Minnie Ned; sister-in-law Marsha Vandenburg; Daughter-in-law Carol Smith; Brothers-in-law Don Dumas and Fre Ned.. Family Hour will be 4:00~6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, Albany Baptist Church , Albany Oklahoma with Bro Ross Phillips and Bro. Jeremey Dunegan officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Trey White, Randy Smith, Jack Lawson, Billy Lawson, Bill Meek, Tommy Dellinger, Terry Bird and Clint Shaffer and as honorary pallbearers Kody Meeks, Raymond Paddox and Cale Smith Jr. Interment will follow at Albany Cemetery Albany, Oklahoma.
