THE HIGHLANDER NEWS MARCH 2, 2006 Mildred Lynn Warren Mildred Lynn Warren, 76, of League City, Texas, died Feb. 23, 2006, in League City. Funeral services were Tuesday in the Edgar Funeral Home Chapel in Burnet with Tim Denton officiating. Interment followed in the Post Mountain Cemetery. Born April 25, 1929, in Burnet County to Clyde and Ruth Fisk McPhaul, she worked as a floral designer for Hannah Niday Floral Shop in Houston for 20 years and had formerly worked as an interior designer for Sears for five years. She graduated from Burnet High School in 1946 and was married to Tommy Warren, who preceded her in death. Survivors include: sons Tommy Warren Jr. and Richard Warren, both of Houston; daughter Sharon Whitten of League City; sister Wilma Rogers of Dallas; grandchildren Terri McDaniels, John Whitten II, Laura Whitten and Lacey Vaughn; great-grandchild Garrett Whitten; several nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Texas Division-2433, Ridgepoint Dr., Suite A, Austin, TX 78754. Arrangements entrusted to Edgar Funeral Home, Burnet.
