------------------------- "Crofton -- Services for Anna K. Keck, 96, Crofton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Community Bible Church here. The Rev. Lyle DeFord will officiate with burial in the Beaver View Cemetery." "She died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at the Bloomfield Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Born Jan. 4, 1905, at Crofton, she was the daughter of Phillip and Dora (McKee) Merchen. She grew up in Crofton and graduated from Crofton High School. She received her teacher's training at Wayne State College and in Aberdeen, S.D. She married Roy Keck on July 21, 1925, at Wayne. The couple farmed in Crofton. She had resided at the Bloomfield Good Samaritan Center for the past 18 months." She was survived by 2 daughters, 1 sister, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
