THE LAMPASAS DISPATCH RECORD Monday, October 16, 1989 Mr. Darling Funeral services for H.A. "Herb" Darling, 81, of Lake Buchanan, Burnet County, were conducted today (Monday) in the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Burnet with the Rev. W.B. Hammond officiating. Burial followed in Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet. Mr. Darling died Saturday. Her had been a Burnet County resident for 40 years, and for the past eight years had resided at Bonanza Beach on Lake Buchanan. Survivors include his wife, LaVera Darling of Lake Buchanan; three sons, Herb Darling Jr. and daughter-in-law Michele Darling of Burnet, Jim Darling of Llano and Bill Darling of Raymondville; a brother, Paul Darling of Lancaster, Ohio; two sisters, Anna Butts of Lancaster, Ohio, and Florence Martin of Brookings, Ore.; two grandsons, Had and Zac Darling of Burnet; a niece, Helen Bressie of Lake Buchanan; and a number of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clements-Wilcox-Funeral Home of Burnet had charge of all arrangements.
