Bio
Our Savior and Lord lifted John Crozier in his loving arms to rest in eternal peace and joy Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010. Memorial service: 9:30 a.m. Monday, Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 N. Davis, Arlington. John was born July 24, 1922, in Southland. He was married to Eleanora "Marie" Snokhous Crozier of West for 57 years until her death on May 1, 2006. They resided in Arlington for 49 years where he remained until his death. Mr. and Mrs. Crozier were members of First Baptist Church of Arlington. He was a World War II veteran and finished his service as a lieutenant colonel. He was employed by FHA and retired after 20 years in 1980. Our special thanks to Charlotte Emerson for six years of loving care to the Croziers. John was preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Juddie Crozier, and brothers, William and Robert Crozier. Survivors: His daughters, Margaret Faughtenberry and husband, Jerry, Carol Lamotte Matthews and husband, Leonard. He was "Great Papa" to grandchildren, Meredith, Jonathan, Preston and Kasey; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Nicolette, Christian, Mariah, Cameron, Peyton, Presley and Andrew; and great-great-grandchild, Jaylen.
