Robert (Bob) Crozier, 64, of 4220 Erath died Oct. 11th at a Waco hospital. Services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Wilkirson Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Ron Durham officiating with Burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Crozier was born June 14, 1920 in Southland. He grew up in West where he attended public schools. He graduated from Hillsboro Junior College and Baylor University. Mr. Crozier was an Air Force pilot in World War II. During WW II Crozier flew 156 missions over "The Hump" - the Himalayan mountains which rise up to 24,000 feet in the China-Burma-India area. During his 22nd mission over the hump, he and his crew were forced to parachute into Tibet. The story of their 52-day adventure was published in 1965 in a book called "Jump into the Land of God" by Col. Boyd Sinclair. A copy of the book has been donated to the West Community Library by Mrs. Faye Gorgas. He was married to Dorothy Wilbanks on June 9, 1946. He was executive vice president of Texas Retail Grocers Association for many years. He and Mrs. Crozier opened Crozier's Flowers in 1967. He was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, a Mason, a member of Ridgewood Country Club and the Northwest Waco Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Barbara Ann Crozier, and one son, Mark E. Crozier, both of Waco; one sister, Mrs. Martha Piano of Palm Harbor, Fla.; two brothers, William E.
