Bio

Services for Vivian G. Stewart, 82, of Little River-Academy will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Hubert Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Valley Cemetery in Little River. Mrs. Stewart died Wednesday, Oct. 13, in a Clifton nursing home. She was born on April 2, 1928, to Milton P. and Ora Brown Lott in Bryant Station. On Dec. 31, 1949, she married Billie Bob Stewart. She worked for Santa Fe Railroad for more than 35 years. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 26, 2008. Survivors include a brother, Richard Lott of Temple; and a sister, Elva Ruth Dooley of Waco. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Temple – organ fund. Visitation is 5-6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. TEMPLE DAILY TELEGRAM. Published: October 15, 2010.
