Bio

born to Ervin and Florence (Hanika) Fahrenholz. Lunk married Erma O'Mara in a Lutheran church in South Sioux City on Jan. 11, 1942, by Rev. Haug. Lunk served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include two sons, Jim Fahrenholz of Pender and Rick and his wife Cyndi Fahrenholz of Hanford, Calif., and one daughter, Gina Midthun of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, Edwin Fahrenholz of Allen, and one sister, Shirley and her husband Leonard Peters of Pender; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Lunk was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Erma, brothers Donald (Lee) and Bobby, sister and brother-in-law Ellen and Wally Walraven.
