Bio

He served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of The Batson Prairie Baptist Church. He served in the Batson Masonic Lodge for over 40 years where he received the Golden Trowel Award. He is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Pastorick; sons, Harvey Taylor and wife Dennee, David Taylor and wife Cynthia; daughters, Mary Ellen Taylor, Diana Taylor Fenton and Angela Katherine Taylor; numerous grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Allison Funeral Home on Tuesday October 13, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled Thursday October 14, 2010 at Allison Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson, TX.
