Bio

Mary Etta was the daughter of John Foster and Cynthia (Vance) Preston. After John's death in Fort Douglas, Johnson Co, AR, Cynthia married George Bell Dodson. ***** "The death angel has again visited our neighborhood and took Miss Mary Preston. On November the 21st, she was taken very ill and grown worse all the while until half past four o'clock on the 26th, she breathed her last. She was born March 2, 1887. She had been in very bad health all this year and all was done for her that could be done. Her body was laid to rest in Altoga Cemetery Friday evening at half past two o'clock."
