CECILIA ANN ZISSA YOAKUM - Cecilia Ann Zissa, age 91, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010. She was born in Yoakum on Sept. 20, 1919 to Valentin and Veronika Krpec Pish. She worked at St. Joseph Catholic School cafeteria and the Huth Memorial Hospital cafeteria. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors: daughters, Virgi Ferrell and husband Charles of Yoakum, Judy Balzer and husband Dan of Yoakum and Charlotte Littlejohn and husband Jerry of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Louis Pish of San Antonio. Preceded in death by: parents; and husband, Edward G. Zissa. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Mausoleum. Pallbearers: Richard Stevens, Jarrod Stevens, Grant Balzer, Neal Balzer, Ryan Littlejohn and Travis Gerhardt. Honorary pallbearers: Charles Ferrell, Dan Balzer, Jerry Littlejohn and Ricci Stevens. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School Endowment Fund or Special Olympics.
