Bio

W. E. GREGORY DIES IN DENTON William E. Gregory, 72, Maple Street, a resident of Denton three weeks, died of a heart attack at 5:45 am Saturday. Funeral services are to be held at Old Alton Sunday at 2 pm, conducted by Lyle Price, minister of the Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Old Alton Cemetery. Gregory was born October 11, 1866, in Smith County, Tennessee and had lived in this county 32 years. He was a farmer but retired several years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are five children, Casper H. Gregory of Denton, Mmes. Stella Blagg and Emma Ratliff of Frisco, Herschel A. Gregory of Aubrey and Mrs. Myrtle Cunningham of Argyle.
