Bio
The Wellington Leader October 26, 2006 Jimmie Sessions, age 80, died Monday, October 23, 2006 in Wellington. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ricky Cartensen, pastor, officiating. Interment followed at North Fairview Cemetery. Jimmie Sessions was born March 8, 1926 in Electra to Ed Pryor and Faye Williams Pryor. She married Bob Sessions on August 1, 1958 in Amarillo. He died in 1988. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marti La Rossa in 2000. She was a social worker for 10 years at Panhandle Community Services. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. Immediate survivors include a son, Jon Sessions of Wellington; a daughter, Lee Ann Hargrave of Espanola, New Mexico; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Carl Taylor, Dannie Morris, Don Allred, Tim Maxwell, Gary Brewer and Danny West. Angie Mitchell Martin
