OBITUARY Last rites for Buster PENDERGRAFT, 49, were conducted at the First Christian Church in Canadian, with James Mitchell, minister, in charge. Burial was in the Canadian Cemetery under the direction of Stickley Funeral Home. Mr. PENDERGRAFT was found dead at his home. His body was discovered by Roger Wootton, who lives in a rent house on the PENDERGRAFT property. Wootton said he had missed seeing his neighbor, noted that his car had not been moved since the day before, and went over to see if he might be ill. The body was lying on the floor of the small house. Death was attributed to a heart attack. The victim had been dead for several hours. He was a bachelor and lived alone. Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. Goldie BRASSART of Houston, and Mrs. Pauline HIGGABATHAM of Louisiana; a half-sister, Mrs. Madeline HYATT of Canadian; and a half-brother, Vernon WEAVER of Dallas; and two aunts, Mrs. Dan HOOVER and Mrs. Tom PENDERGRAFT, both of Canadian.
