She was born on 15 Oct 1912 in Mobile, AL to Andrew Jackson Champion & Eula Stansell Champion. Ola Mae, was a member of the First United Meth. Church in Dublin, TX. She was a seamstress & a loving devoted mother & grandmother. The funeral service was held on Tues., Sep 21 2010 at 10:30 am at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Downing Cem. Ola Mae is survived by her son, General Sherman Yates-Houston; daus: Ona Mae Pruitt-Granbury & Vickie Hernandez-Hewitt; numerous gch, great-gch & numerous family & friends. She was preceded by 2daus: Audnia Barker & Mary Lou Sharp; 4bros: L.B. Champion, F.M. Champion, A.J. Champion & Leon Champion; 5sis: Ora Shupp, Thelma Sadberry, Lessell Rogers, Eva Yates & Lula McGinnis.
