Arcadia Guide, Arcadia, Nebraska, Thursday, December 19, 1963, Page 1, Column 3 Funeral Rites For Mrs. Burt Sell, 78 Mrs. Burt Sell, 78, died Thursday, December 5, in a rest home in Broken Bow. Funeral services were held from the Arcadia Methodist Church Tuesday, December 10, Rev. Charles Ver Straten and Rev. Faye Crist conducted the services. Burial was in the Lee Park Cemetery. Artamese Jane Crist, daughter of Eunice and Levi L. Crist, was born near Ansley, Nebraska, November 17, 1885. She departed this life December 5, 1963, at the age of 78 years and 18 days. With the exception of short residences in Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado, her entire life was spent in this community. She was united in marriage February 5, 1903, to Burt Sell at Loup City, Nebraska. To this union ten children were born. Mrs. Sell was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Leo E. and an infant daughter. She is survived by her husband, Burt; five sons, Zera, Portius, and Dale of Arcadia, Orville of Fresno, Calif., and Elbert A. of Burney, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Mese Greenland and Mrs. Oril O. Greenland, both of Arcadia, and Mrs. Evelyn e. Camp of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, Alva B. of Stratton, Colo., Milton G. of Ronan, Mont., and Elver L. of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Etta Sherbeck of Bridgeport, Nebr., and Elsie Crist of Boring, Oregon; 28 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
