Obituary from The Post-Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - Wednesday, February 20, 1974: Lewis Eaton, a retired Shelley farmer, died Tuesday in an Idaho Falls hospital of causes incident to age. He was born October 25, 1882 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, the son of Joseph O. and Victoreen E. Walker Eaton. He married Sina Cook, October 31, 1900. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan Utah LDS Temple, October 2, 1902. She died November 12, 1912. He married Cora Lords at the Salt Lake LDS Temple February 3, 1915. Mr. Eaton had six children by his first marriage and one by his second. He came to Shelley in 1922 where he purchased a farm and resided until his retirement in 1973. His wife, Cora, died March 21, 1973. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vella Laird and Mrs. Jennie Fletcher, both of Rexburg; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hunting of Downey, California; and 16 grandchildren.
