Obituary from The Post-Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - Thursday, March 22, 1973: Mrs. Lewis (Cora) Eaton, 76, Shelley, wife of Lewis Eaton, died Wednesday in an Idaho Falls hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Eaton was born October 28, 1896 at Blue Valley, Utah, the daughter of Henry Lords and Amy Jensen Lords. She came to Idaho in 1914. She married Lewis Eaton on February 3, 1915 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. They lived in the Shelley area and engaged in farming all their married lives. Mrs. Eaton was a member of the LDS Church and was active in Primary and Relief Society. They were active directors of ward genealogy and temple work. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary February 3, 1965. She is survived by her widower; two daughters, Vella Laird and Jannie Fletcher, both of Rexburg; one brother, Lafayette Lords of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Wesley D (Peggy) Hulse of Fresno, California; 16 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, five sisters, three daughters, and one son.
