Robert S. Stone was born on March 9, 1857 in Westmoreland, Somerset, England. He married Olene Olive (Olsen) Hanson in about 1881. They were the parents of Alexander Hamilton, Clarence Roy, Robert Harold, Nettie Mabel, Edith Lester, Charles Freeman, Edwin Sylvester, and Ernest Glen. He died on June 1, 1923 in Hastings, Nebraska.
