The Ardmoreite Posted Sep 17, 2010 @ 08:00 AM Ardmore — Funeral services for Myrna Sue Meredith Burch, 71, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel. Interment will follow at the McAlister Cemetery. Born on January 7, 1939, in Hedley, Texas, to Thomas G.C. and Audrey Lorene Hunt Meredith, she passed away on September 14, 2010, at her Ardmore residence. A resident of Ardmore for the past 45 years, Myrna moved here from Fort Worth, Texas. Myrna grew up in Amarillo, Texas, moving back to Oklahoma at the early age of 11 where she lived at Overbrook. Her work history included working as a secretary with The Slaughter Company, Milor, Akins & Burns Law Office and with the Otey & Evans Law Office. Mryna enjoyed listening to music, painting and arts and crafts. Survivors include her son, Bryan Dean Burch of Ardmore, Okla.; grandson, Brandon Derek Burch; sisters, Louise Evans of Greenville, Okla., and Carolyn Hallmark of Ardmore, Okla.; brother, Tom Smith and wife, Sandy; and sister-in-law, Berta J. Meredith. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Duane Burch; brother, Tommy E. Meredith; and grandparents, Thomas G.C. and Nannie Meredith and George P. and Laura Hunt. Pallbearers will be Joey Willingham, Tom Heron, Kelvin Schoonover, Joshua Knox, Ian Redding and Gavin Evans
