Bio

Vaudis Omer Healey, 93, died September 15, 2010 in Provo, Utah. She was born March 19, 1917 in American Fork, Utah, to Gustave Siegfried and Leona Johnson Omer. Married Harold Healey in 1935 and they raised six boys. Harold died on Feb 11, 1988. Vaudis loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed cooking and baking. She did all her own canning. She is survived by five sons: Karl (Dee), of Lehi, Garn, of Bethner, NC, Jay (Penny), of St. George, Paul (Bonnie), of Salt Lake City, and Leon, of Duchesne; 30 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth. Preceded in death by her husband; and brother, Donald. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork, Utah, preceded by a Visitation from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Alpine City Cemetery.
