STINNETT - Clyde Junior Holman, 67, died Wednesday, March 5, 1997 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Stinnett with the Rev Raymond Lewis and the Rev. Billy Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors. He was a native of Parnell and a former Stinnett resident for 23 years, as well as an Amarillo resident for 9 years. He married Thelma Doris Willis on Nov. 10, 1945 in McLean. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Clyde Legene Holman in 1989 and a grandson in 1973. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Doris Holman of the home; one son, John Robert Holman of Amarillo; two brothers, Richard Holman of McLean and Charles Holman of Clovis, Calif.; four sisters, Barbara Ann Gates of Cassville, Mo.; Linda White and Norma Jean Ashley, both of Rogers, Ark.; Orene Amerson of Amarillo; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Palo Duro Home Health Care in Canyon and to the American Heart Association. He was a native of Farnell and a former Stinnett resident for 23 years, as well as an Amarillo resident for 9 years. He married his wife Thelma on November 10, 1945 in McLean. He was a member of Victor Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by one son, Clyde Legene Holman in 1989 and a grandson in 1973. Survivors include his wife Thelma Holman of the home; one son, John Robert Holman of Amarillo; two brothers, Richard Holman of McLean, Charles Holman of Clovis, Ca.; four sisters, Barbara Ann Gates of Cassville, Mo., Linda White and Norma Jean Ashley both of Rogers, Ark, Orene Amerson of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Carmen, Junior Lee, & Joe Carl and two great-grandchildren. Casket bearers will be Marvin Goodall, Joe Roy, Dub Mathews, Tim Arnold, Bobby Arnold Sr., John McCarry, Raford Haskison, Elmer Lee Holman, Bobby Arnold Jr., Bobby Phelan and Frank Pahlmeier. Memorials may be made to Palo Duro Home Health Care in Canyon and to the American Heart Association.
