Bio
George was born December 18, 1928, in Ceresco, Nebraska to Frank and Frances(Slama) Mastera. He attended school in Ceresco and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952-1954. On January 8, 1955, he married Lola Kunkee and they had three sons. George worked for Klosterman Farms for 14 years and for Butler County 34 years. He was a member of Presentation Catholic Church and the Bellwood American Legion Post #327. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lola, son Douglas, four brothers;Alfons, Frank, Louis and Edward and two sisters; Agnes Priess and Frances Styskal. George is survived by two sons, Mark(Jane) Mastera of Bellwood, Les Mastera of David City, special friend Lillian Palik, David City, grandchildren Hannah and Austin Mastera of Bellwood, two sisters;Helen Nelson, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mary Richardson of Lincoln, Nebraska and three sisters-in-law;Beatrice Mastera, David City, Alice Mastera, Ceresco and Darlene Mastera of Schuyler.
