Bio
In 1850 Victoria Spivy, 5, was listed in Hatch Creek, Coosa County, Alabama with Jackson Spivy, 36, overseer, born in Georgia; Mary, 24, born in Alabama; and William, 3, born in Alabama. In 1860 her father was farming, and the Spiveys were living in Union Parish, Louisiana. Victoria A. was 14; William J., 12; and four more children were in the family: Emily, 10; James, 8; Isaac, 5; and G., female, 3. Isaac and G. were born in Louisiana. Victoria married L. C. Ramsey about 1866, and in 1870, the couple was living in Buena Vista, Shelby County, Texas, with their two small sons, Charles and William, both born in Texas.
