In 1910 the widowed Lewis Ramsey is listed in the household of his son and daughter-in-law, Jack J., 29, and Sallie Ramsey, 28, with their 3 young children and 2 nephews, Emmett and Joe Hairston. In 1920 Mr. Ramsey is listed with daughter and son-in-law Dora, 38, and Omer Rider, 36, and their 2 children. L. C. Ramsey died at his home in Joaquin. Mr. Ramsey was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and the Joaquin Masons were in charge of the funeral service. Survivors included his children: Rev. C. L. Ramsey of Joaquin, Dr. W. A. Ramsey of Joaquin, Judge S. L. Ramsey of Henderson, E. L. Ramsey of Joaquin, Jack J. Ramsey of Joaquin, and Dora A. (Mrs. A. O.) Rider of Henderson.
